scar from friction burn

by JJ <jj21@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 2, 2008 at 11:36 AM

Back in December, my 4yo daughter got a big raspberry (friction burn)
on her cheek after falling out of a sled while sledding at her
preschool. It was a pretty big area (about an inch in diameter) but
not too serious looking - just a surface wound.

It seemed to heal fully in about a month or so, but now, 7 months on,
that patch of skin is still obviously discolored.

The skin there feels normal (not like scar tissue). I'm hoping that
time will bring everything back to normal. Any advice on how long
that will take? Is there anything I should putting on the area to
speed things up or have I missed my window of op****tunity?

Thanks.
