Would dividing an injection alter the asorption time?

When I have to use a larger Humalog injection I fear
that the insulin will be acting above a certain level
longer    My thoughts are based on the volume  and surface
 area of an injected sphere.

I do worry that may have resulted in a few of my 911 runs.

Technical people, does my thoughts have any validity?.
