Ever since my teens I have been on and off prone to headaches, although in
the past decade they have been rare.
I have been very vocal in these newsgroups, singing the praises of Lantus,
which has greatly improved my bg management.
However, ever since about the time I went onto Lantus - about one and a
half
years ago - my headaches have resurfaced to the point where I get them
almost every day. They are very tiring, and normal headache tablets have
little effect. The headaches are similar to the ones I used to get, but at
a
much greater frequency.
I have tried to eliminate a variety of foods as being a trigger, and all
that's left is Lantus. Is there any person amongst you who has suspected
(and perhaps proven) that Lantus was a trigger to your headaches? I keep
my
bg fairly well in the normal range most of the time, so I don't think low
bg
is a factor. Also, the few times I have hypos, they do not normally result
in a headache.
Thank You.
Henry Mydlarz.
