I should add that I was 52 when I had the knee done.
My arthritis problems seem to have been due to years
of physical assault from an active lifestyle rather than
any underlying medical cause. My opinions on
supplements come from that perspective.
I have no cartilage left in my left hip, virtually none in my right.
Replacement on the left is scheduled for 8/12.
Though it's my "good" leg the right is breaking down fast based
the types and frequency of pain. I'll have to do it soon after or
my rehab will be affected since I still won't be able to walk any kind of
distance.
I look forward to setting off metal detectors.
