Thanks Mario, Adam, Kirk, Cris, Alessio and Jennifer for answering my
question about handling Coulter XL files in FlowJo. FlowJo 4 allows
you
to map any keyword to the data file column name:

"You can use any FCS keyword as the name of the data file in the
FlowJo
workspace.  In the Preferences, you have a choice of showing either:

1) the file's name according to the file name keyword (eg,
Z0015266.LMD)

2) the file's name according to the file name show in the finder

different from #1!)

3) any keyword or combination of keywords you choose (eg, $SRC)

This option is under the Workspace tab in the Preferences."


Unfortunately I have FlowJo v3.7.1!
