I also strongly agree with Mario. I also will occasionally respond
privately to posts (as a member of the flow community as opposed to
any
official response from BD), and any chances of confusion there from a
repost or unintended public disclosure would certainly discourage me
from
responding at all.

I absolutely disagree with posting the identity of responders when
posting summaries of replies.  When I respond privately to someone's
query, I may put in information that is not for general distribution.
I always consider emails that people send directly to me to be
private, and I would not disclose their identity without their
permission.

If summaries include attribution then a lot of people will be
discouraged from providing advice; I know that I will be far more
reticent to provide candid advice when responding in private.
