Hi Joanne,
It is quite true that this site is supposed to be used for providing
information, asking and answering questions and discussing issues.
The
availability of a new technology to members of the cytometry
community, for
whom it was not previously available, is worthy of being disseminated
via
this bulletin board. There was a similar message recently, regarding
the
opening of the first Partec US office, which did not raise any
objections,
as should be the case here. The matter was actually discussed, along
with
the content, before this was posted, so it's not as if there was no
sensitivity to this issue. The message was intended to be
informative, not
commercial and I apologize to all who may view it otherwise. However,
there
was no solicitation to buy anything, nor any detailed product
information,
only the quite newsworthy information that another new technology is
available in markets where it was not previously.
Best Regards,
Jeff
