If you have the strenth and dexterity, try a bungie cord....
If not, you might be able to rig an extension type gas cylinder,
like the ones on a hatchback or hood that hold them up when open..
Attach it to the door, such that when the door closes, the cylinder
puts pressure on the ramp to keep the rattle down. Make sure you do
it in such a way that you don't overstress the door closer motor.
