Building peer respect for kids with disabilities

by jrtw <twessler@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 20, 2008 at 10:57 AM

We all know little kids like to tease each other - especially when
their classmates are "different" from them. This is a great story of a
Michigan school district that is trying to build respect and awareness
among elementary-aged children in regard to the challenges their
special needs peers face each day.
This is so encouraging and would be great to see integrated
nationwide!
