I noticed a female police officer pull her patrol vehicle in behind
someone stealing a blue space. She punched the plate number into her
hand held and it spit out a ticket in just seconds. She places it on the
wind****eld and goes into the 7Eleven and gets a large coffee, no donut.
She returns to the parking area where driver of said car is hopping mad.
First, the $280 worth of ticket. Second, he cannot leave, as her patrol
vehicle is blocking him.
He starts walking toward her and is saying that he is in a rush and has
to leave. She tells him that she will pull out when she is finished with
her coffee. Slow sip...
By the time she leaves, he is fuming. 15 minutes of extra waiting time.
I finish my coffee and paperwork and head down the highway in the same
direction.
Guess who got nailed for speeding? I had to pull over to recover enough
to drive safely.
BTW, there was a second blue space available for anyone who needed it.
