For a KIDS ON WHEELS magazine article, I'm interested in interviewing
single parents of children who use wheelchairs.
Telephone interviews should take no more than 20 minutes, or we can do
the whole thing by e-mail if you prefer.
My deadline is the end of this month (May 31, 2007).
I'd like to hear about your accomplishments and frustrations, and your
advice for other single parents of wheelchair-using kids. I hope
you'll tell me frankly about educational challenges (IEPs etc.),
equipment maintenance and financing aggravations, surviving nosy
people's stares and inappropriate questions, unexpected sup****t from
friends and family members, joyous achievements and pride, and so
forth. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
