Human being has to worry only until the appearance of Naad. Once the
Mother [Kundalini] is awakened, there is nothing to worry. Mother
floods our mind and prana in the musical sound of our being and dwells
freely, sometimes s****ting upwards, sometimes downwards.
The world of Naad is unprecedented. The sadhaka does not have the
power to stop Naad. Mother s****ts about and dances. Sadhaka is
overwhelmed; he loses his mind and prana. He stands up, sit and sleeps
like a machine, reads the Shastras; not an iota of his own influence
is at work.
When the Kundalini [serpent power] is activated, unbroken Naad [Divine
Sound] goes on; it is beyond the powers of the spiritual aspirant to
stop its momentum. Naad Brahma [Absolute in the form of Sound] s****ts
sometimes in higher and sometimes lower regions [spiritual centre of
the body].
When the spiritual aspirant forsakes all company and dwells in
solitude, at that time Naad [Divine Sound] manifests in varies
aspects. Whether the seeker listens to it or not, the sound does not
cease! Sometimes the [rumbling of] the bee, sometimes [chugging of]
the engine, sometimes [gurgling of waterfall and sometimes [intoning
of] Jai Guru, or Om Guru or Guru Guru =96 she plays in this manner.
Mother [Kundalini] sings and dances and destroys all our memory and
sanskars. Naad is the goal of all spiritual aspirants. Hathayogi
ultimately gains Naad and attains self-realization.
Sadhana, bhajan [Singing praise of God] etc. are not mere mental
concepts; they are not figments of imagination. There is unbounded joy
in sadhana and bhajan; they liberate one from old age and death.
Texts composed in meters of Sanskrit language get the prana to vibrate
in praakrut chanda {Praakruta: Etymologically, the original nature/
state. Since the original state is the state of =93ultimate
happiness=94 [the union with the Divine/Brahman], the Praakruta Chanda
refer to those Chandas, which take the aspirant back to the original
state of the ultimate happiness. In modern parlance, centripetal
forces.}Prana is directed towards the sushumna {Sushumna is a Naadi in
the human subtle body. It is one of the body=92s main energy channels
that connect the base Chakra to the crown Chakra} channel and
experiences great bliss. The bliss experienced after entering sushumna
current is beyond words.
The Hathayogis experience Naad after perfection Hathayog. Those who do
japa, experience Naad in uninhabited places as they pursue their japa;
those who are given to austerities, obtain Naad as a fruition of their
practices. No matter which sadhana is adopted, the fruit is invariably
Naad. Kaaran Naad [Note of music anahata =96 the causal transcendental
sound] gives rise to Omkar, Omkar gives rise to Varna [Alphabet], and
the union of varnans gives rise to bhasha [Language]. Bhasha is
necessary for spiritual practice. Until the bhasha ceases, there can
be no siddhi. The bhasha too ultimately merges with Naad.
This is a secret the Gurus do not disclose. It is however imparted to
the deserving disciples; I am informing you of this because common man
today holds that God is a mental construct, and it is with the help of
imagination alone that one can get on to the path of God. They feel
that the blissful things of the external world don=92t exist within =96
that it=92s all arid inside. But this is not the case; there is an ocean
of bliss within us. You don=92t have to imagine anything. One can
experience transcendental sounds, touch, form, taste and smell inside.
By doing japa in a controlled manner, just for a few days, these come
to light one by one.
There is no path available to he who is walking on the spiritual
journey other than the path of Jyoti and Naad [Divine sound and
Effulgence]. Jyoti and Naad can bring about everything. Contemplating
on this Naad, the yogi merges with the unlimited indescribable Jyoti.
The jnani contemplates on this Naad and becomes one with supreme
Brahma who is devoid of attributes. And as the bhakta contemplates on
Naad, God comes and grants darshan [vision] to him. Whatever desires
the supplicant has; by sitting beneath the wish-yielding tree of Naam,
these desires are realized.
Those who wor****p Jyoti and Naad become worthy of being propitiated;
they gain fame.
Forsaking all activities and efforts, try with all your might to be
one-pointedly absorbed in the mantra! Diseases, sorrow, want.
Suffering will all flee. What will remain is happiness on earth,
extremely delightful supreme bliss.
