Yael, Yeah, it gets uncomfortable, just take it easy and you'll be fine. It
probably hurts during retrieval, who knows. You're asleep!
As for after, yeah, it hurts a little, but nothing plain old Panadol
(Tylenol/paracetamol) doesn't fix. Unless you hyperstimulate, which makes
you swell up like you're 6 months pg, and it hurts hurts hurts if you
drive
over bumps, or walk too fast, or bend over, etc etc. Basically you don't
want too many eggs, the more eggs, the worse it is.
I never bothered warming my injection up. Go for the whitest spot of skin
you can find. It is less likely to have blood vessels or nerves so it's
less
likely to hurt. (My Dr is diabetic and he taught me that trick.
You'll be right. One hug from DH and everything will be fine.
