Hi Samantha,
My RE has now recommended an endometrial biopsy this cycle and the
following cycle I will transfer all 4 frosties. At my age it doesn't
make sense to transfer fewer embies and they're all I have left from
my last cycle.
My RE has said that just having the biopsy has shown to increase your
chances for implantation in the next cycle. There was a study done
out of Israel in 2006. So this is why I'm having the biopsy - nothing
to do with there being something wrong with my uterus. Everything for
me has checked out (hormone levels, uterus etc.), so it's just likely
my age as well as the undiscovered hormone imbalance I had (prolactin
levels too high).
I have to say I am so upset with my RE for not following up on my high
prolactin levels. That alone can cause IVF to fail and I did most of
my cycles with abnormal hormone levels.
