Sorry I havn't posted in awhile... But I have been reading up on
everyone!
I have now had my first OB visit and 1st visit with the high risk dr.
Everything is fine so far.
OB didn't really say much about having twins that I didn't already
know from having a singleton. Just said more of a change of pre-term
labor. He also said that all of his tiwns go full term! ARGH! That
sound like it will be very uncomfortable for me! LOL. But when I told
him taht with DD I got cholistasis (sp?) of pregnancy and had to be
induced at 37 wks he then said that we will probably deliver early
then because I have a greater risk of getting it again this time. ARGH
again because that was the worst part of my 1st pregnancy!! Lukily I
only had it for about a week before I was induced.
Had my appointment for the Nuchal (sp?) scan monday with the high risk
doc. I went to this same doc last time when I developed gestational
diabeties so we already have a working relation****p. Everything went
very well. DD got to go with me because I had scheduled her an
appointment right before that. She was very good (surprisingly for a 3
year old) and she was so amazed to hear the babies heartbeats. I don't
think she really understood all the stuff going on the screen, but
watched anyway. It was very nice to see them both on the screen again
especially since I still don't have many symptoms at all. Sometimes I
begin to wonder "are they still there?" The doc said that I will have
to go back every 4 weeks for them to look at the twins to make sure
everything is progressing the way it should. They also said that next
time they will be able to find out the ***es of the babies. We
origionally didn't want to know but DH has changed his mind, so they
will ahve to write it down and put it in an evnelope and we will open
it together over dinner. To me it wouldn't matter if we found out at
all, but I think he wants to know if he is going to be out numbered or
not.
