My hard drive has 'gone into the light' so looks like I'll need a new
one. Just figuring out how to post through google groups (oy, what a
headache!!)--can y'all see me?
I'm 29 weeks now, doing pretty good, very minor complaints (occasional
heartburn, slight ankle swelling, shortness of breath at times,
nothing major)...went to the OB yesterday for regular check. Babies
both still
head down and very active...good blood pressure, gained 5 more pounds
but OB not concerned. Seems to be mostly all babies. :-) Finally got
a semi-good 3D pic of Samuel on the u/s, but I can't upload it to DH's
computer (that I'm on now, it's linux based) so I'll have to wait til
later for that. Very cute though, even though it's only a split second
long! :-) Can't wait to see these babies once they get here safe and
sound!!! :*)
Nursery about 95% finished. Got Maya a new bunk bed and dresser,
working on putting them together today
(lots of breaks in between, don't worry! :-) One of the moms from
Maya's previous soccer team that we still visit with at times for
playdates showed up a few days ago with a bunch of 'gently used' items
for us, wow! So much stuff!! Got it all sorted and put away in the
nursery. One minor glitch--seem to have misplaced one of the strike
plates for Maya's crib, hopefully I can find it, or replace it so the
side/gate can be lowered.
Other than that, taking it easy for the most part. Lots of activity
from the babies which is SOOOOO reassuring--now there's days I go
without using the babybeat because I don't have a worry about
them! :-)
Nice to feel 'normal' for a change. :-)
Gotta go grab some dinner then get back to work upstairs. Hopefully
this weekend we'll get a new hard drive and I can get back online the
'easy' way!!
