Clarice,
I'm no spider expert, just an expert in Google! Actually, I had a feeling
it was an orb spider -- my brother had a big one that lived in his back
yard
for a few years, and would make the most amazing webs. I just googled
"Orb
Spider" and checked out a couple sites, including Wikipedia and checked
out
photos to verify. Then I typed in "Orb Spider poisonous" to verify that
it
wasn't. My guess is that you typed in "poisonous spiders" which is why
only
Black Widows and Brown Recluses came up.

for info on spiders and couldn't find much. There was a ton on black
widows and brown recluse etc.... Thanks i love taking pictures of
nature!! Jake loves to take pictures too but i think he was scared of
it!! LOL Wouldn't that be cool if she was a special spider like
Charlotte?? LOL
