Can anyone shed some light on your thought of when/how to move your
child from a full crid over to the todler bed/day bed (convertibaly
crib)?
My DD will be 3 this June and she is currently still in her full crib.
The only reason we have left her in there this long is because she has
made absolutely no attempt to get out and we are enjoying her being
able to be confined to one spot.
We have been contemplating converting her crib into the todler day
bed, but just havn't done it yet for fear that it will add to the
difficulty we already have with her going to bed. She wants to play
and we are afraid that if we put her to bed in the day bed and she
still wants to play what is stopping her from getting out and just
doing so in her room?
My new reason for wanting to change her out is because I am having
difficulty getting her in and out of bed. There are some mornings that
she dosen't want to get up and I have to physically get her out from
her laying down popsition and I think it is getting to be too much on
my body (just went through IVF and have had my 3 positive tests and am
going for US in 2 weeks) DD has been having night mares the past 2
nights and DH got up with her the 1st night and last night was my turn
and it was very tough for me to get her in and out in that state and
because of that I have been having cramps today.
Anyway, if you all could lend some advise or maybe share your story
with me I would appreciate it. I just don't want to rush her and I
also don't want to keep her in there past her time.
