Ok, Please don't think I'm terrible, but I'm a little disturbed by
what our home development worker told us in our class yesterday. She
said, "I am so sick of people telling me they don't want to foster
because the children might go home to the birthparents! That is so
selfish! I would rather ya'll have the loss than the kids! You are
adults and should be able to cope with loss."
Ouch!
Ok, I'm all for putting the kids first, but to totally minimize all the
LOSS adn PAIN most of us have already experienced through infertility
is wrong too!
We have feelings too!
