Thanks for the update, Joni. You know, with a child that you had born, or
even adopted at birth, I might say, "sure, go head and cry it out. He's
old
enough and big enough." But because of Mason's history, and his tiny
little
size, I'd be inclined to be a lot more flexible and lenient on the night
waking issue. It's almost like he's a preemie or something, and needs an
adjusted age. At least that's what it feels like to me. I didn't worry
about Addie sleeping through the night until she was 14 months old, and
then
decided to CIO, and it took 2 hours the first night and she's slept
through
ever since, except of course if she's teething or sick, but then it's just
a
bit of medicine or a pat on the back and she's back down for the night.
Although slimmer than Taylor at the same age, she's always been
consistently
in the 50-75%. If I remember correctly, Mason was fairly small for his
age
for a long time, right? How is he doing now?
Obviously you have to go with your gut and pediatrician's recommendations
on
this. I trust you know your son better than I do! LOL! ; )
I'd love to see some updated photos...

long, "You put one foot in front of the other, and soon you'll be walking
out the doooo-oooo-ooor!
Addison Grace, 9/30/04 -- My Little Ham, who smiles so big her eyes
disappear and she says, "Cheese" on command. Although it sounds more like
"eeeeeesssshhh"!
