Need Advice Please (baby ment)

Hi everyone.

I usually post at ai primary, but a situation has come up that I'm not
sure if I can post about there.   A friend of my husband just adopted a
young child and they called him needing a foster home/possible adoption
for a 3 week old baby boy.  His friend is working on refering us to his
social worker so we can see about taking it in.  Do you think this is a
good idea? or would it be too much possible heartbreak?

I'm not really in belief that this could actually work out, but I
figure it's worth a shot.  Dh and I have been trying a year and a half
and I recently had to start treatment for endometriosis.  We haven't
"committed" to adoption as a possibility yet, but have not ruled it out
yet either.

I would just like to know everyone's thoughts.  I will post more
information as soon as possible, but will try not to get excited.
