I saw a while back a special, I think National Geographic, or Nova maybe,
about this type of thing. This guy was tracing the migration of people by
using DNA. It was incredibly interesting. There were many new
revelations
that buck the current thinking. I wish I had saved it on my Tivo, I can't
remember it all now.
I've thought about doing the DNA ancestry trace before. I know almost
nothing of my paternal grandmother's family, some of my paternal
grandfather's, and a fair amount of my mother's, on both sides. They are
more into family history and both sides have a very interesting story. DH
doesn't really get into this stuff like I do. I ask him stuff and he's
like
"I don't know" :-/
