Re: Adopting older children

C, here are a couple of websites that give info on how to do an
adoption from the Ukraine.  The process is the same regardless of the
age of the child.  This first link gives specific info on older
children.  The second link is the specific laws for Canadian citizens
(every single legal detail).  The Ukraine is apparently unique in that
you cannot identify a child to adopt ahead of time.  You basically are
given a travel date, and then shown your "choices."  I am still finding
sources that say that *all* adoptions from the Ukraine, no matter the
country or age of the child, are suspended, but I must just be missing
something.  I will post the question on that yahoo list and see if
people there know more.
