That Green Star is kinda a pain to clean, although it's built like a
tank and works well with greens. I prefer the Omega Model 8003 with the
single gear auger which is much easier to clean, works well with fruit,
but has trouble with some greens.
What's the point of having the best juicer to produce the highest
quality juice if it is so much time and trouble to clean the damn thing
that you never use it?
The best all around machine imho is the Vitamix blender (about 10,000
rpm faster than typical smoothie machines). So quick an easy to use,
quick and easy to clean, no waste, even the seeds get used. Takes about
10 seconds to rince out and you're done. I toss a bananna (50 cents a
lb) into the vitamix with some cold water, got a quick, cool healthy
bananna drink for about 20 cents. Those slow speed juicers don't do
banannas!! Seems like the high speed ones won't either, i can't
remember. I bet an ordinary blender (20,000 rpm slower than a vitammix)
could do a bananna, as long it's not green.
I've spend close to $2000 on juicers, this is my favorate machine by
