Can you read? That's not what I said. What I said was food enzymes make
food easier to digest.
From "Enzyme Nurtition: The Food Enzyme Concept" Dr. Edward Howell:
"There are three cl***** of enzymes; metabolic enzymes, which run our
bodies; digestive enzymes, which digest our food; and food enzymes from
raw foods." Page 3.
"When ingested, the enzymes in raw food, or supplementary enzymes,
result in a significant degree of digestion, lowering the drain on the
organism's own enzyme potential. The heat used in cooking destroys all
food enzymes and forces the organimsm to produce more enzymes.... When
an excessive amount of digestive enzymes is made, the enzyme potential
may be unable to produce and adequate quantity of metabolic enzymes to
repare body organs and fight disease." Page 4.
