Hi all,
I'm a newbie to this group and also to fasting. Today I'm starting the
Master Cleanse / Lemonade Diet and have one main concern.
All my life, I've been fairly regular (I'm now 27, so it's not an
old-age problem...yet!), if you know what I mean. I eat something,
then within the next hour, I'm off to the bathroom. Some say they're
envious, I say I'm cursed! It's not pleasant and sometimes an
inconvenience. It's also not a specific kind of food, just any food.
And the more I eat, the more I go!
Further, for around 6 years (since 21yo) I haven't been able to drink
full cream milk or else I can expect a sleepness night sitting in the
bathroom with the additional pleasure of having extreme cramping. :(
Other dairy products, unless it's a cheese platter, do no harm though,
so not sure if it's a lactose problem either!
Anyhow, I'm going on the Master Cleanse for two reasons - 1) I've been
eating like a monster for the past year and 2) in the past year I've
gained 10kg and my fat percentage has increased greatly (it used to be
16% or so when I was a fitness junkie!). Now, I'm not too concerned
about the headaches, as I'm prone to them anyway, I'm not too concerned
about the cravings or lack of food either, I'm concerned about the
laxative tea!!!
If I'm already a very regular person who on a normal day goes 2-3
times, and frequently has minor cases of diarrhea (sorry for the info,
but I guess I can assume it's a frequent topic for Master Cleansers???
lol), should I really take laxative tea??? I work full-time and will
have no time off for the Master Cleanse. I will arrive home around 7pm
Monday-Friday and I don't want to be up every night for 10-14 days!
:'( I'm really, REALLY afraid. :'( Additionally, I study part-time
off-campus, so I'm up late each night and therefore doing the
"extraction" procedure in the mornings (and carrying the problem to
work!) isn't really an option either. I've tried the teas already, but
they don't do TOO much, but I know testing them while not actually ON
the Master Cleanse isn't a sign of what's to come. :'(
Can anyone please assist? What can I do to avoid having up to 2 weeks
of sleepless nights??? :'(
Thanks so much in advance,
Lara
