Thanks for the booklist Gary, I'll look into it asap as it sounds like a
good place to start.
I am not so clever on the subject but my own feeling is that there is
'something' of which we are a part, rather then seperate entities. I also
sense that there is more around us then we are aware of in this life. I
never belived much in the 'spirit' things, but I have a nephew (Paul) who
had a strange experience the other week and it made me think.
He's not clever enough to make this story up, and he's not into BS either.

It's the fact that I 'know' him which makes this story believable to
me....'even though I don't understand it.
He and his wife had felt for months there was something with them in
their,
watching maybe. His 3 year old son kept pointing to a corner of his room
and
saying 'man, man' but they thought nothing of it at first. After a while
though they began to wonder why the kid kept saying this and why the room
felt so cold in that corner when he said it. A friend suggested they
contact
a spiritualist to see if he could tell them something. The guy came out to

the house and immediately said simply 'you've got company'. He said he
could
see a man in the corner of the room, but he described him in detail to
them
both and then revealed to 'Paul' a story that no-one could possibly have
known. The man was his grandad who passed away over 10 years ago and he
gave
Paul many messages form him which made sense to him. Paul asked questions
and the guy got the answers for him. Then his grandad told him he should
not
be hurting his wife so much as she was crying when he was out. He told him

he was not a good husband to her but must change his ways. Paul was in a
state about it all as she had suffered from depression. The thing is, they

live in a relatively new house and a hundred miles from anyone they know,
so
this guy had never known of Paul's grandad. It's easy to say "there are
ways
to find out", but the guy was there as soon as he was called out. Also,
his
grandad was a very private person. I was dumbstruck when he told me all of

this. What might 'you' make of it though?
